Registration

Top  Previous  Next

If you have purchased a license for Delphi2Cpp or Delphi2CB, you will receive a link to a version of the program that can be registered.

Registration of Delphi2Cpp/Delphi2CB, i.e. permanent activation of the program features, is performed using the menu command:

Help -> Registration

This opens the following dialog:

RegistationDialog

Before you can obtain a registration key, you must open this dialog in the unregistered version of the program. Instead of

       xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx

the dialog will display your hardware ID. This ID is specific to your hardware configuration and is also referred to as the machine fingerprint.

To generate the registration key, the following information is required:

the hardware ID
a user name (at least eight characters)
a company name

Clicking the button on the right copies the hardware ID to the clipboard. You must then either enter these three values into an online registration form or send them to the manufacturer.

After payment has been received, you will receive the registration key by email. The user name, company name, and registration key must then be copied exactly as provided in the email into the corresponding fields of the registration dialog.

After clicking the Register button, the program automatically closes and restarts. A license file named Delphi2CppLic.dat or Delphi2CBLic.dat is then created in the .

Delphi2Cpp or \Delphi2CB folder

If the program is already registered, the Register button is no longer displayed.
