Interactive change of a start rule

User interface > Debugging and executing > Interactive change of a start rule

If sections of text shall be transformed interactively by different productions, the according production can be selected in the combo box of the tool bar.

If the productions were compiled by Parse all scripts, an interactive change is possible every time.

However, if the were compiled by Parse connected scripts (this is the case also, if you have started the transformation immediately on the main page), a just selected rule first must be (automatically) parsed eventually.

What exactly happens, if you change the start rule depends of the things done before.
