There are three versions of the TextTransformer:

  • The free version (not time limited) has almost all possibilities of analyzing texts and carrying out simple text manipulations. After you have installed the TextTransformer, the functionality of the standard version (see below) can be tested for 30 days. Then you can continue using the free version of the program.
  • The standard version has wizards and an additional transformation manager to transform groups of files interactively. This version also has augmented interpreter capabilities: subexpressions of tokens can be accessed and containers can be used.
  • In the professional version of the TextTransformer a ready transformation program can be exported as c++-code for use in other software products.

The installations of all versions are made by the same installation program. The extended features of the standard or professional version can be obtained by registering the program.


TextTransformer 1.4.x installation (all versions)

After the download you have to execute the TetraInst_en.exe. The TextTransformer programm will be installed on your computer including the help files, all examples and all necessary dll's etc.

The help for the TextTransformer as a printable PDF file is not part of the installation package, but can be downloaded here. (Select the link with the right mouse button and then click "Save as ..." in the popup menu.)

CBuilder components

Free CBuilder package, by which you can execute the TextTransformer interpreter from your own applications.

The TextTransformer package consists of three components:

  • TTextStringTransformer for the transformation of a string into another string
  • TTextFileN2NTransformer for the transformation of one text file into another one
  • TTextFileN21Transformer for the transformation of several text files into a common destination file
